On Tuesday, February 18, the Üsküdar American Academy AI Committee gathered in Redroom, taking significant steps toward our initiatives for the new term. Teachers attending the meeting shared inspiring insights on artificial intelligence and educational technologies.
During the meeting, Gözde Arslanoğlu presented “Art of Words Festival: Works from 9th Grade Students,” offering valuable guidance on supporting students’ creative writing processes. Yunus Emre Çil delivered a session on “How Can I Use Monica Effectively?” providing ideas on how teachers can make better use of digital assistants. Başak Saygı introduced “A Flipped Classroom Example: Preparing a Podcast with NotebookLM,” demonstrating how AI-powered tools can be integrated into assessment and evaluation processes.
In addition to these insightful presentations, the AI Committee outlined concrete projects and established task distributions. As a committee, we are excited to continue our work in AI and educational technology with great enthusiasm.
