In the CS Talks event organized by the Computer Science (CS) department, Assoc. Prof. Elif Kartal from Istanbul University gave a lecture on “Introduction to Data Science” to 9th grade students.

This event enabled students to gain a professional perspective on the field of data science. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kartal presented the basic concepts of data science, its application areas and career opportunities in this field in a comprehensive manner.

During the conference, students learned about the role and importance of data science today and interacted with their questions in an interactive environment. It was emphasized that such events contribute significantly to the academic and professional development of students.
