Luxembourgish writer Tollio Forgiarini met with 11IB students on Thursday, February 7, 2025 with the organization of the Turkish Language and Literature Department. Tollio Forgiarini gave an interview covering topics such as truth and fiction, new literary perception, postmodernism and enriched with questions from students. The author writes dark, short stories, screenplays, novels and plays in French, in which dark humor and social criticism are prominent. Forgiarini won the European Union Prize for Literature in 2013 for his novel Amok, published in 2011. His novel The Unique Ceruse, published in 2020, tells the story of Saturnino Bianchi, a high school teacher who starts working as a writer for hire and is then commissioned to write the life of Ceruse, a rich and terminally ill man.
