The International Economics Olympiad, the largest gathering of young people interested in economics worldwide and sponsored by the 2007 Nobel Laureate in Economics, Erik Mason, took place for the 7th time with participants from 49 different countries.

In our country, among the participants who took a selection exam consisting of 3 parts which simulates the International Olympiad, the 5 people with the highest scores, including our UAA'25 student Begüm Burçak, successfully represented our country in the International Olympiad as our national team.

Our student Begüm won the silver medal as an individual and was awarded the “Best in Finance” award for her success in the financial literacy section.

We sincerely congratulate Begüm and wish her continued success.
