Our UAA'26 student Saba Koca won first place at the ESU International Public Speaking Competition (IPSC) national finals held at Hisar Schools on March 22nd!

Last year's winner of the competition, UAA'24 student Zeynep Nehir Gökçe was also at the award ceremony as the guest of honor.

Organized by the English Speaking Union, the competition brings together participants aged 16-20 from more than 40 countries.

This prestigious competition promotes self-confidence, critical thinking and cultural understanding, as well as research, organization and presentation skills in a non-competitive format. It also gives participants the opportunity to receive constructive feedback from experienced ESU judges and build international friendships.

We wish success to Saba, who will compete in the IPSC grand final in London On Friday, May 17, 2024, with the theme 'There is nothing good or bad, but thoughts make it so' and we sincerely thank our English Teachers who have been mentoring our students who finished first two years in a row.
