DRAMAPALOOZA

An all-day theatre festival run by students.

 

90 Students. 

2 Stages. 

9.5 Hours of Theatre, and 1 Short Film.

 

We have two new student directors:  Alp Arda Gültekin and Deniz Türkoğlu

 

We have two original student works to share:

 

The full-length play, A Sigil for Desire was written by 11th grader Miran Güler and directed by 11th grader Alp Arda Gültekin.

 

We will also screen the short film, Avcı, which was directed by 11th grader Zeynep Oğuz and stars 11th grader Deniz Türkoğlu in her film debut.  

Other 11th graders involved in the project are İdil Eryürekli, Cem Başak and Hayri Çalgüner.  The film won the “Best Use of Line” award in the 48 Hour Film Project, held this past November.

 

AND   Posing Possible Pollution Solutions

These students will perform scenes they have created themselves to address pollution and environmental issues.
