ASHA (American Schools and Hospitals Abroad) has granted 249.000USD to UAA. The grant will be used to further improve technological infrastructure and campus network.

ASHA is an American organisation which internationally funds American schools, medical facilities and libraries. The $249K grant given to Üsküdar American Academy in 2014 has been used

to improve and develop the technological infrastucture and the campus network.

The explanation given by the ASHA officials about grant being given to Üsküdar American Academy is:  "The institution receiving the grant educates the leaders of tomorrow, supports innovations and research developments, encourages academic professionalism and helps building bridges between the US and other countries citizens."

ASHA has provided several amounts of grants in the previous years to Üsküdar American Academy.  The funds received from the institution has been used to build Morgan Hall, the science building in 1990; the development of a video conference system in 1999 and a new library/media center in 2008.
