From student clubs to international conferences…

 

We have frequently mentioned the deep-rooted history, multilingual, multicultural structure and international identity of Üsküdar American Academy. Like many leading educational institutions in the world, Üsküdar American Academy strengthens its academic program through projects that develop an international viewpoint and skills. Our students participate in scientific, cultural, artistic and political projects in many different countries, gaining experience of how international structures work, structures that, in the future, they will be part of or in which they will perhaps even play a guiding role. Model United Nations (MUN) began as a student club in 1995 and today has grown into an international conference in which students from schools from all over the world participate, under the name Turkish International Model United Nations (TIMUN).
